Undergraduate Management Program Student Admission
The admission process for new students in the Undergraduate Management Program at Universitas Tanjungpura (UNTAN) follows the latest regulations under Minister of Education Regulation No. 48 of 2022. There are three admission schemes: National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP), which evaluates academic achievements; National Selection Based on Test (SNBT), which prioritizes test results; and the Independent Selection conducted internally by Universitas Tanjungpura. SNBP (National Selection Based on Achievement)
SNBP is a selection process based on school report cards, portfolios, and other achievements. Its objectives are:
- To provide opportunities for outstanding high school students to pursue higher education in state universities (PTN).
- To allow PTN to recruit highly achieving students, with a minimum quota of 20% funded by the government.
General Provisions
- SNBP is conducted based on academic performance recorded in report cards (semesters 1–5 for three-year programs or 1–7 for four-year programs).
- Students’ achievements are assessed based on their three best academic or non-academic records.
- Schools must have an NPSN, complete the PDSS, and hold a valid SNPMB School account.
- Students must register through the SNPMB Student account to participate in SNBP.
- Only students with valid NISN and excellent academic performance are eligible.
- Students admitted through SNBP are not allowed to participate in UTBK-SNBT or Independent Selection.
School Requirements
- Must be a recognized high school with an NPSN.
- Accreditation quota eligibility:
- Accreditation A: top 40%
- Accreditation B: top 25%
- Accreditation C/others: top 5%
- Must complete PDSS with eligible students’ data.
Student Requirements
- Grade 12 students graduating in 2024 with outstanding achievements.
- Indonesian citizens with a valid NIK.
- Registered with NISN, included in PDSS, and report card data uploaded.
- Required to submit a portfolio (for Arts & Sports programs).
- Must be in good health.
- Meet specific requirements set by the chosen program.
SNBT (National Selection Based on Test)
SNBT is a selection process based on the Computer-Based Scholastic Test (UTBK). The test covers:
- General Reasoning Ability
- Quantitative Ability
- General Knowledge and Understanding
- Reading and Writing Comprehension
- Mathematical Reasoning
- Indonesian Literacy
- English Literacy
General Provisions
- Each participant may only take UTBK once.
- UTBK results are valid only for the current academic year.
- SNBT admission is determined by UTBK results and university-specific requirements.
- Students admitted through SNBP (2022–2024) are not eligible for SNBT or Independent Selection.
Student Requirements
- Must have an SNPMB Student Account.
- Indonesian citizens with a valid NIK.
- Grade 12 students in 2024 or graduates of 2022/2023.
- Graduates of Package C (equivalent) with a maximum age of 25 years.
- Graduates from foreign institutions with equivalent diplomas.
- Applicants for Arts/Sports programs must upload portfolios.
- Must be in good health; visually impaired applicants must submit a health statement.
- Required to pay UTBK registration fees.
Independent Selection
The Independent Selection at UNTAN is conducted based on available quotas and official guidelines. Detailed information is available at: https://scmb.untan.ac.id.

Student Requirements
- Graduates of SMA/SMK/MA/MAK or Package C (2022–2024) with a maximum age of 25 for morning/international classes.
- Evening classes are not limited by year of graduation.
- Must hold an original diploma or graduation certificate.
- Must be in good health.
- Meet specific program requirements (e.g., non-color-blind for Medicine & Sports).
Selection System
- Based on UTBK results and additional tests (psychological, interview, or skills test).
- Skills tests required for Arts, Sports, and Medicine programs.
- Failure to attend any examination is considered withdrawal.
